Sean Sands

Clients usually call Sean when they’ve been approached by a buyer and want to understand whether the

opportunity is attractive and what other options may exist. Others are thinking about retirement, have

no clear successor, and want to know what a sale could realistically look like.

Clients get a clear understanding of value, a defined transaction strategy, and a process designed to

create competitive tension and preserve leverage. While the owner continues to run the business, Sean

manages the transaction process — buyer discussions, offer negotiations, deal terms, and the many

issues that come up between the first conversation and closing.

Sean’s ideal clients are business owners or CEOs of established, privately held companies, generally with

$1 million to $10 million of EBITDA, who are seriously considering a sale. They value experienced, hands-

on advice and are willing to run a disciplined process to get the best overall outcome.
